Went here to change Australian dollars and the rate is 40 and they are only giving 29 which is criminal. Don't exchange money here the rates are disgusting! Find somewhere else! If I could give a 0 star rating I would

I really don't recommend this place. My partner and I pay our rent in dollars. We've been several times but we plan to stop using them because they create problems every single time. These problems range from the incompetent to the bureaucratic to the plain suspicious. Once, they didn't have any change because the banks had been on strike and insisted we go out and buy something and come back to them with change. So that day, they were a bureau de change with no change. I understand that a banking strike complicates things, but if there's one business that should be able to plan for that, it's an exchange house. Another time, they accidentally miscounted and gave my partner 600 instead of 700. There were six notes. I don't know how you mis-count seven. It's a good job he checked before leaving the counter. The information on the signs about what documents you need to present is confusing and contradictory. One sign said that residents need to show their ID cards, another said only Argentinos need to show that. Occasionally they have insisted that we show passports. Today I was told they would only accept my ID card and wouldn't let me use my passport. On other occasions, they wouldn't serve me because I was in the country on a precaria, which is the document you're given when your residency is being processed. In other words, they refuse to serve people in the country legally. To top it off, when these problems happen, they aren't even polite or understanding. Avoid.
