Beautiful place and its location is also very interesting in taste. I saw Paola Krum in that theater and that is why I do love it. There are other great plays

The theater was recently modernized. We saw Shakespeare's The Tempest produced in spanish, but under the auspices of The British Council with an English director. Superb!

By far the best and most emblematic theatre owned by the city, features 3 stages where both classical and stablished plays and artists in the main ones mingle with more experimental and avant garde pieces in the more intimate stage deep underground. Prices are wonderfully accessible, thanks to the city's sponsorship. The productions are routinely of high standard, with a fine repertoire of classical and contemporary pieces, which renew monthly. It has benefitted from a recent restoration, so that sound quality is excelent and seats very comfortable. It also features a renovated screening room which features thematic retrospectives. They had recently incorporated a most welcome coffee shop in the lobby, quite convenient for a last-minute picker-upper before the show. It shouldn't be confused, although is connected with Centro Cultural Gral San Martin, which is connected to it, but accessible round the corner, which features photo exhibitions and various events (annual gathering of crime novelists, tango, etc) besides theatre performances, usually of the alternative variety.

Went to see a great play. The theatre is sponsored by the government so it has always experimental plays. The building has recently been refurbished and it looks great
