I would give 3,5 stars for them. Some guides (Gala, Fernando) are really good. Some guides (Sergio) are really bad, speaking most of the time Spanish than English. Also they don’t understand English. It’s nice for the view than. But if you expect an English tour it’s not the best. Furthermore to sit in the last row with 4 adults for 12hours is really hard and not comfortable at all. Almost no space for luggage if you stay somewhere overnight with all your belongings.

I booked this on Expedia without reading the reviews here, unfortunately. We were the first people picked up. My friend was messaged on WhatsApp asking for our location and sent the address of the hotel (which had already provided by phone and later by email). Then the guide sent a picture of a live location so she immediately shared our live location and said "sorry I don't use WhatsApp much" (which we don't since we don't use it in the United States). I get on the bus and the guide starts making fun of me. At first I just thought he was being playful, but he sounded mad. But then this carried on for minutes. He kept bringing it up insinuating that my friend was stupid because she didnt send our live location immediately. I eventually asked him to stop, and that he sounded mad. He kept going. He said something in English and the only word I understood was "tree" so I asked him to repeat and he, again made fun. We were almost outside the city when he asked for our passports. Which, we didn't have. Only copies. I have been traveling in Argentina for 4 months, the only time you need your actual passport is when flying or when traveling between provinces. He started again at us, yelling, saying it was common sense, that we could get arrested by the military police. I have contacts with the embassy since I am here on an government grant and they all recommend only traveling with a copy. I said this and he goes "I know better than the embassy. Im a resident." We decided to get off the bus since for the almost hour that we were on there we were only getting yelled at. My friend was almost in tears at this point. We are requesting a refund through Expedia. I would 100% not recommend this agency. They are unclear at communicating (I called on the phone, we emailed, and have the Expedia booking and none say to bring the original passport), the guides barely speak English, and the specific guide we had was a full grown man yelling at a young woman for trivial reasons.

Salinas Grandes and purmamarca tour. It's very sad that you are sitting in an uncomfortable Bus for 13 hours all day and just have 30 minutes for Salinas Grandes in an ugly Spot there. The time is not enough If You have to Walk away for better Spot and everybody needs a 3 rd Person to make Trick Fotos at that place. After 15 minutes the Guide offered Help but seemed to have never done It before. So we dont have great Fotos now. Also the Guide ruined everyones Foto when a train came of the Bridge He Ran in Front of all us making Photos so now He has great train Photos Without people in Front and WE dont have. Its weird behavior of a Guide who should be interested in His Clients. Humahuaca Tour... You Just Stop everywhere to Shop Souvenirs all day. You dont even See the colorful Mountains 20 km away from humahuarca. The Windows of the Bus are to dirty for good Photos. There is not free Seat choice.we we're the First in the Bus and where not allowed to sit behind the Driver called ramirolrosa. He Said because of a Woman with a Baby which would have Been okay. But next came to beautiful Young Ladys and guess what? They we're allowed to sit where We wanted before. Woman with Baby came next and had to sit in the middle of Bus. If You Just Like Shopping and driving Bus Take this Tour. If You want to experience Nature Take Just a Driver and You will have a better day.

DO NOT believe the information that says you are required to call them at least 24 hours in advance if you want to take advantage of their free hotel pickup. Since I was unable to do that I went to the agency to get the tour van. The agency was closed, but the instructions said that departure was 7:00-7:40am. I waited from 7:00 to 7:45, and when no tour van arrived I returned to me hotel. There I discovered that the van had come to my hotel while I was waiting at the agency. I missed my only chance to take what appeared to be a very nice tour. I have not yet figured out what hoops I will have to jump through to get a refund.

Communication with the agency was great and the pickup was on time, but that's all the good things I can say about this tour. The guide didn't speak English, we had a translator. The guide did speak quite a lot, but very little of that was conveyed to us in English. I don't even know if he was telling something about the scenery or just chatting with the translator. In any case, out of the 12 hour tour we probably got 20 minutes of boring comentary. We were crammed in the car, no air conditioning most of the time, it was super inconvenient. I felt like cattle being transported from one photo stop to another. We were brought for lunch to an overpriced and very not tasty restaurant. Given very little time to spend in the towns. And the driver was speeding all the way to the extent that he actually skidded and lost control of the car on the highway at some point. Certainly one of the worst tours I had. I would never recommend this agency.

The 4x4 private tours are very recommendable. We went to Grandes Salinas and Cafayate and had an incredible experience. The tour guide was kind and pointed out constantly interesting details about the landscape and local animals (August 2017).
