The place looks like a cheap and popular place for tasting Peruvian food but I think is too expensive for the facilities available and the service provided. Even the fruit juices are very expensive.
I don't eat seafood myself so I have no business rating a Peruvian restaurant. But literally everyone I know who's been to El Peruanito Ray is wildly enthusiastic about the food. Which is all the more telling as it's hard to find anyone in the least bit enthusiastic about seafood in general in Argentina. I had a chicken burger here myself and as far as chicken burger go, yeah, it was great, way better than your average, soggy chicken burgers elsewhere. You won't wouldn't know it for the looks of the place, the interior is quite unassuming to say the least, but they serve great Peruvian food here.
This restaurant does not treat their customers right, we waited over an hour for a dish that was served cold, they even served people that arrived later before us. The owner didn't apologize just said it's the waiters fault, but didn't do anything about it. When they served the dishes didn't give us any cutlery, we had to go and ask and the waitress got us just spoons. This has been the worst experience in a restaurant in CABA ever.
