Meat empanada was juicy and with great taste, be careful is hot inside. Despite of my initial perception when I received the empanadas, taste was great. As for chicken empanada, taste was just ok.

If I would eat empanadas and have the time to travel, I would always choose this place. My first try of these delicious empanadas was during a rehearsal in the Cancilleria. The beef empanadas are so juicy and delicious! The last time I bought it, price was 55 per piece. And it was worth it. When you go to this place, you would not expect that they have amazing emapanadas. The restaurant is small and a bit dark. Never tried to dine in though.

The best empanadas I've had in Buenos Aires. And 45 pesos per empanada I consider very good value for money, considering the quality. If you're only going to try one empanada, then go for the empanada con carne. The beef inside the empanada is actually a beef stew, which is stupendously good. Will come back frequently.

Quality of the food is mediocre, they made us wait an hour and 30 minutes for tamales, of course we already paid and had to wait. And when we got our order, we realized that they charged us 200 pesos more, and they refused to make a refund right away because the waiter, who took the order, went home. They were supposed to come by our hotel to give us our money back the next day, it never happened. Thieves and a bad quality restaurant.

By far the best empanadas in BA. The beef ones are out of this world good!
