A small but interesting Art Museum. Some fine paintings and sculptures from mainly European masters such as Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh and Gauguin - plus some fine and interesting work by various Argentine artists. Free entrance, but often crowded and little room to sit down or socialize. I saw no signs to a second or third floor so was very surprised to read some reviews later and find that I had missed them. During December 2019 there was a Turner exhibition which showed none of his masterpieces, and would not have impressed any visitors unfamiliar with his work. Worth a visit if you're in the area, but not worth a special trip.

Excelent Museum. One piece of advice: Go relaxed and with time. It's not a place to visit in a rush and expecting some clip special effects loud type of entertainment, but a suttle one that you have to discover. Go slowly. Try to feel the hidden power of time preserved in the colours and expressions of faces, landscapes, things that live beyond time in the canvas. Choose your painting and take your time to connect. Enjoy.

Very beautiful museum with art from all over the world. Residents get in for free and tourists pay a small amount of around 200 pesos. It’s a nice place to visit. Average time to walk through both floors and see the gallery takes about 2 hours. Highly recommended if you’re in the neighborhood. It’s worth it. I went here after the Recoleta Feria. Definitely swing by, it’s a cool place.

Great museum, well curated. It's the richest museum in art, a variety of styles showcasing Argentinian classical art as well as European artist. The museum had some of my favourite paintings depicting a history pre colonialism and also showcasing the effects of Spanish colonialism on the indigenous communities. It's a beautiful museum, worth paying for.

A good, well curated museum with a large collection covering centuries of art. Entry is 200 pesos. The museum covers two floors, with modern art on the top floor and everything else at ground level. Rooms have background information in Spanish and English (most of the time). The collection includes pieces from around the world including Monet, Rodin, Manet, Renoir and more.

A beautiful museum with many excellent works by praised artists. Go on Tuesday for free entrance and set aside a couple of hours. You will have to carry your bag in front of you if you bring one. A must go!
