Cerro Castor is a ski resort on the southern slope of Mount Krund, 26 kilometres (16 mi) from the city of Ushuaia, in the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego. Its tracks can be used during several months because of the cold weather of the region. The standard season takes place between June and October, and it is, thanks to the geographic location, the longest among the main ski centers in Argentina. Cerro Castor is the southernmost ski resort in the world.

Equipment for rent available at the base. Free parking area. Nice skiing paths. Children-friendly environment.

Amazing place to practice snow sports or just to visit. The structure and services are great, amazing view from the lift, prices of the restaurant, classes and equipment rent are a bit high but worth it. I went on August, there was a lot of snow and most tracks were open.

After Sept 21th they decrease the ticket price and the ski season runs up to Oct 6th. O went o n Sept 26th, and it was great. They got great snow and nice trails. The only thing that bothered me is that the green trails don’t make to the base lodge.

Best ski resort in the country! with snow in the base until the end of the season, no large crowds & a breath taking scenery, it’s my favorite

Skied here a few years back. It's a long way south, next stop Antarctica. Really enjoyed my couple of days here. Never found a crowd or long lift que.

The staff is great. I had a broken arm when visiting the cerro and had some issues with the tickets.. but Paula and Joaquin (at the Info balcony) were really helpful and everything turned out fine. The cabañas had great food (I really enjoyed the pasta) and the price was surprisingly honest. Can't say a lot about the tracks, but my boyfriend did enjoy them a lot. We came back 2 days later, so yeah, it's worthy!

Great ski resort, specially for the ski instructors, the park and the snow quality
