Yesterday I went to Sipan to celebrate my 9th anniversary with my girlfriend. We are big fans of japanese cuisine, and wanted to try this place since we read some recommendations about. I must say I was not dissapointed. The location is really nice, in one of the most modern places of Buenos Aires (Palermo SoHo) and the restaurant is also really cosy and lovely. It shares an entry with a hotel, which gives Sipan that feeling of boutique cuisine that is so popular right now. Having said that, I must compliment the staff. All willing to assist and answer each and every one of our questions about the menu and location. We went with a coupon (I know) but the offering was still top notch. It was a 4 step dinner, that included an entrée, main and side dish as well as dessert, accompanied by a glass of wine or beer and a bottle of soda or water. The entrée was called an Ebi Bomb, accompanied by some Potatoes with a traditional Huancainá sauce (a traditional Peruvian sauce). Second dish included white fish with nikkei sauce and a hot sushi roll, that I must say was the first time I got it properly made, that means, the salmon was not cooked on the inside, and was still fresh. First in Argentina I've had that pleasure, and I've visited a lot of top level sushi venues. The weakes part of the dinner was the dessert. It was not bad, but lacked the inspiration from the previous dishes. We had a Yucamoshi which is a cake made from Yuca and a "Suspiro helado" which was ice cream with a crémme on top. It was not bad, but at the same time, lacked the same care and wow factor as the previous dishes. One thing I was forgetting to add, was that we had a bite of octopus ceviche as an appetizer given to us, that was just wonderful. The right amount of coriander that kept it fresh and spicy while flavourful. All in all, this was a wonderful place, and I'm definitively coming back in the future.

An amazing Peruvian restaurant with lovley staff.
Great Peruvian food. Good value.
We had a four course delightful meal and my new favorite Malbec, Andellian, at this great Palermo Soho restaurant. Wonderful service as well. Highly recommend.
Pricy but excellent
Excellent Peruvian food. Great attention from the waiters. Prices are a bit high but it is aligned with the high quality of the whole place
The place is nice. The food so and so: nothing special. Definitely overrated. The waiters were lazy and not welcoming.
One of the best Peruvian and fusion Sushi in Buenos Aires
