Road2Argentina was an awesome way to get an easy introduction to the Argentinian culture. It was so good to have Will and Simon as points of contacts when faced with a completely new environment. They were incredibly helpful and responsive with any questions we might have. The housing situation was very comfortable and safe, and the internship I worked was fun and interesting. Thanks for a great time! I'm glad I got to be a Roadie :)

was fortunate enough to come across Road when I was looking for a summer internship and I could not have designed a better experience myself. Will and Simon (program directors) are the perfect combination of friendly and professional and between the weekly cultural events, mate happy hours and the quality of my internship it was a perfect experience. I've been abroad before and the small-group experience that Road provides was the way to go.
My 5 week internship at a public hospital in Buenos Aires were perfectly tailored for me! Will and Simon made sure I was matched to an internship that suited my skill level and was relevant to my academic/career goals. I did this internship as my elective for my final year of medical school and to improve my Spanish and it was a great decision. After my second week in Buenos Aires, I found that my Spanish improved immensely! The process was really easy and everything was explained and set up for me so that I was completely prepared for my stay in Buenos Aires and my internship. I never felt alone or lost as I knew I had 24 hr support if I ever needed. Will met me for orientation, introduced me to my supervisor and showed me around the hospital, which was such a relief being in a completely new city and new hospital and not knowing where anything is. He would also check in regularly to make sure I was getting the most out of my visit and out of my internship. Even though I was unable to attend any Roadie events because I was so busy traveling over the weekends, I really loved that there were one more events every week for all of the interns to get together and hang out.
I interned for 6 weeks in a local public hospital in Buenos Aires. It was a great experience rotating through pediatrics, obstetrics and nutrition. It was great to see how a hospital in a different country functions and great to improve my Spanish! The events with Road2Argentina were very fun and a great way to experience different things in the city! The coordinators are great guys and very helpful with anything you might need.
I had such an amazing time exploring Buenos Aires and doing my medical internship. I learned a lot about Argentina and about myself. I R2A was so helpful and made my experience so much better.
R2A made my experience in Buenos Aires amazing and incredibly easy! They found me a meaningful, legitimate internship at an NGO, where I was able to do hands-on work to directly help the organization's mission. The coordinators helped me with every question I had both before and during my trip, showed me how to use public transportation, planned fun and engaging cultural activities each week, and really created a community feel for all participants. I would highly recommend R2A to anyone who is thinking about doing an internship in Argentina.
I spent 2 fantastic months in Buenos Aires. R2A helped me find both my internship and the apartment. It was a great experience, I had the chance to work with an important ONG in BA, improve my Spanish and meet a lot of people from all over the world and discover a fantastic country. Will and Simon are always willing for any doubt you may have and we also spent great nights together. I really recommend this program !!!
