Plaza del Carmen*.. just right of the Corner of Av Rivadavia and Av la Plata. It's really good place for Groups. Coffee appetizer.Pizza,Salads. It's Ok.

Excellent pizza in a nice and convenient location (close to subway, main avenues, movie theatres, Rivadavia Park, etc). Staff is friendly and their flexible business hours. They accommodate large groups, but as always please book in advance. Their Fugazzeta con Jamón (cheese filled pizza with onion and ham), their milanesa (schnitzel, but never dare say Argentineans that this is an Austrian dish), empanadas (I'm sure you know that one already), and bbq dishes give you a wide range of tasty options. AC works pretty well here. Lastly, if you prefer to complete your supper in a Northamericsn way (not my personal choice) you can find Starbucks just across the street. People in this neighbourhood is friendly and many of them speak English, so do not hesitate to ask for an informal friendly translator when needed.

The place is nice and has plenty of room. It gets somewhat noisy with husle and bustle during peak hours. Variety of foods, I have not always liked the quality of them, specially the chicken. Nice attention. Overall, a good place to have lunch, dinner or to have a coffe as well.

A very traditional Restaurant at the heart of Caballito neighborhood. Pizza is its specialty although you can order a wide variety of dishes, ranging from pasta to argentine meat. Although a little pricey to me, you are guaranteed quality and big size dishes, many of them big enough to share.

Very good place for afternoon tea & cakes or for an informal dinner. Variety of dishes. It is always open and they accept both cash and credit and debit cards. I recommend: treat yourself to some Plaza del Carmen breakfast with fruit, sandwiches and everything. For lunch, either a Ceasar salad or a steak with smashed pumpkin. In the afternoon, try some ice tea with brownies. When you go to such a place, don't just ask them for pizza and empanadas. If you still want to, then the pineapple pizza is delicious. The only big problem is that the toilette is upstairs, which does not carer for clients with reduced mobility.
