The place is overpriced for what it actually is. The food quality is good, innovative and tasty but I would say out of touch. Service is excellent though (perhaps a bit slow). In my opinion, there are places with better proposals for the same pricing.
This place is fantastic -- certainly one of the best in BA. Very nice outdoor space as well. Get the pastron with latke potatoes and onion jelly. Amazing!
Spent a Friday evening with the Mrs., was an absolute enchanted evening. Service was great, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I really enjoyed the open kitchen experience. There’s a table in the middle of the kitchen that can be reserved. We opted for the 6 course menu without wine, opting for cocktails instead. The courses were spectacular. Very well done with both flavor and texture. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Only the desert was a bit off for my liking, but I’m not much of a dark chocolate fan. Every other dish was a straight party in my mouth. At some point in the evening they broke into a live music duo with guitar and flute for a bit of a show. ARS6200 for the two of us, which included 4 cocktails. Well worth the experience.
First time trying Jewish food although I’ve had a few pastrami before. Their signature pastrami dish is amazing - so tender, well-seasoned and bursting with flavor in tandem with the sauce. Your fork alone can do the work of slowly ripping it apart. Single best pastrami meal I’ve had in my life. Rest of the dishes were completely new to me and I enjoyed them, although not as memorable as this pastrami dish.
Nothing that hasn’t been said already, but this place is simply a must when in BA. Staff 10/10, food 10/10. Fun, refreshing, authentic, stunning interior, and the perfect environment. Extremely reasonable at 120CAD for 1.5 bottles of wine, and ample food. Take your server’s advice when ordering, the pastrami dishes are unthinkably large. An added bonus and generous mitzvah, they prepared an elegant surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday. Thank you chef, and all staff!
Absolutely amazing dining experience! I highly recommend this establishment as it epitomizes everything you should expect in regards to service, quality of food and overall hospitality. I traveled from the U.S. to experience Mishiguene, you should find the time to visit as well!
Certainly one of the best restaurants in Latin America or even the world. Mishiguene exceeds in everything. Every product is treated very carefully and brought into undiscovered flavors. There are two types of dishes: platitos (small plates) and platos (dishes / main dishes). You will be amazed of what you will find. Certainly these types of places are an inspiration for the rest of the restaurants. This is a place to look up to.
