We read the good reviews and we’re excited to start the new year off with a great meal on January 1, 2020. Our server was very nice and helpful. However, our meals were hit and miss. The Caesar salad had old wilted and bitter lettuce. Only half of it was edible. We ordered chicken with ham and cheese in it but they only had the Veal so my son ordered it. It was well done and like leather on the outside. Only half of it was edible as well. The sirloin steak was delicious! We ordered the pancake dessert, but they were out, so we ordered another one made out of apple and it was pretty good. It seemed like the kitchen was not up to par tonight and the waiters we’re aware of it, but it didn’t get relayed to the customers until the food came. Nearby customers had their food taken back. We should’ve done the same. It was our last dinner in Argentina, unfortunately it wasn’t a good one.

This is the place to got eat at in Argentina! I was here for a week and had dinner here 3 days consecutively. There are alot of places with good food but I highly recommend La Posada 1820. The service was good and the food was amazing. Dont miss out on some of the best food in the city!

Enjoyed a nice dinner here. Ordered the sirloin strip steak which was cooked well, also ordered the rib eye which was cooked well. Waiters were friendly and service was fast. You can pay with credit card and they have free wifi.
Nice place to have a meal. It's a big restaurant and they have menus in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Not the cheapest but quite big portions and the sauces are lovely. We brought our 10-month old baby here and they were very accommodating. You can also pay with card, which is helpful.
Food was overpriced. What we had in the plate was really not exceptional and we tasted some better meat elsewhere for cheaper. We had some langoustines as appetizers, it was fried with cheese, we didn't expected this and we were kind of disgusted by this. Otherwise the rest was "correct", normal service, normal place, nothing outstanding from this restaurant.
Everything was ok, until the dessert (icecream) came to the table. There was a cockroach leg in it. This means the place isn't clean at all. Not coming back here.
