THE place to go in Cafayate for live music and regional food. Fantastic empanadas! Locro and Carbonada are also very good!

Very good spot, just off the main square on a very quaint street with a few other shops to stop at. We visited a tad early for lunch, so the place was not busy. Had a selection of empanadas and all were very good, with meat (Arabica) being favourite.

Just WOW! Hands down the best empanadas we've ever had, and we've had a lot! You get 12 delicious empanadas with different fillings of your choice. There is many vegetarian options and especially the one with tomato and basil, and the one called vegetarian are great! 12 empanadas are 160 pesos, and this is good for 2 to 3 persons since they are quite small. Take away possible.

The Way We Saw It

This was the only one open of the two locations, the other one on Mitre 24 was closed. The empanadas are delicious, the wines are good, the decor rustic and rough but suitable to the atmosphere. Hearty portions for a good price, friendly service. A must go!
