What a great day. Great service. We were picked up on time by Pablo who drove us to the estancia with our fellow polo apprentices. If you had told me we would be having a polo match together at the end of the day I would have called you mad. But thanks to Pablo & his great team that is exactly what we did. Agostina welcomed us at the estancia with empanadas & drinks. Then Pablo educated us in the rules & etiquette of Polo. He was patient, knowledgeable & humorous. He got us to hit polo balls on our feet on the pitch. Horses later. Then we watched a polo match by experienced players to show us what good looked like. It's wonderful to be so close to polo horses at full speed & controlling the balls. Lunch was fabulous on the patio in the sunlight & I defy anyone to leave the table underfed. There was endless cuts of bife de chorizo & salchichas with vegetables & salad complemented with very nice Malbec. It's hard to beat Argentine beef &wine Our polo match will be one of the unforgettable days of my life. None of us had any great experience on horses but we were now playing a match, helped by Pablo, James & Sergio. Everybody had huge grins when our first polo match came to an end. Then we went for a cool down walk on our horse around the beautiful surrounds of La Carona Polo Club which was very pleasant but almost an anticlimax after our polo match. This wonderful day was rounded off with an ice-cream & a choice of drinks. Pablo then drove us all back to our addresses in Buenos Aires. Do not be put off by the price as it is an all day event with chauffeur services, food, drinks as well as your own polo match! Cecilia could not have been more helpful & responsive when we booked. We had to change the date & she was just so helpful. Cecilia, Agostina, James, Sergio & Pablo made this an unforgettable day. Thank you.
