Stayed here for 3 nights and cannot call it a traditional hostel. There is no reception and you have to go down the street to the owners house if you need anything. The hostel is a walk from town but close to some of the hikes. There is only 1 bathroom /shower and sink per floor which means you can wait a while to use the facility. The kitchen does not have many plates or bowls but always have oil and salt. The WiFi can be not so good at times but the beds are pretty comfy and the room is clean.

Very nice, the owners are helpful Located right next to the beginning of the trail to laguna torre Not enough showers/restrooms

Right at the bar of the Laguna Torre hike, like 40 meters away. Easy walk to town. Bus station is on the other side of town and was a ten minute walk. Only real issue is that there are only two bathrooms for 20 people. Oh, and the lockers are not great. Otherwise, the folks who run it are nice. They ran through the layout of the town with us. Though they do live about a block away and you have to go there to check in on your first day.

Fair prices, acceptable room sizes and clean beds. The kitchen is OK equipped as well. There is no reception, instead you simply ring up the owner who lives in the neighborhood. But he and/or his father (?) come over all the time to tinker with stuff, seems that that house only recently became a hostel. Free WiFi was included.

Nice hostel with really fair prices. Kitchen is well equipped. Would recommend. The hosts live in the neighbourhood, so you can ring at their house if nobody is there.

Hostel is located in a normal house and the bathroom, kitchen and dining capacity is way too small for the amount of the travellers. As shower, toilet and wash basins are in one room it can make you wait about 20 minutes or longer, just to pee. The owner speaks only Spanish. The furniture, bathrooms and kitchen equipment is rather old and partially broken. There are better hostels for less the price in El Chaltén. I cannot recommend.

Very nice place to rest after hiking, it's like a French mountain house and George the owner is very kindly!
