In a highly interconnected world, the Internationalization of Higher Education (IHE) is a central focus of university policies in an increasing number of countries. 21st Century universities build relationships with other global institutions to increase their competitiveness and improve the quality of their research and outreach programs by enhancing their access to new sources of knowledge and resources. With this forward-thinking attitude, Argentina will host the first International Higher Education Fair in 2018, an event that will bring together internationalization experts from all over the world to carry out workshops, trainings, and seminars in an environment conducive to developing strategic links for international cooperation. The objective of this conference is to present Argentine higher education as a necessary tool for the development of democratic societies founded on knowledge, foster the creation of relationships based on trust and respect between the nations and individuals that take part in FIESA 2018, innovate, learn, develop values and international tools applicable to higher education, and create a platform to link Argentine higher education with the rest of the world.
