We went in with high expectations for a great fish meal... Got disappointed big time. I have to admit the fried calamari as appetizer was apparently very good, as I usually don't eat fried stuff. Then three of us got different types of grilled fresh fish as entrees. The "lenguado" one of us got was cold, dry, and tasteless, to the point we ended up returning it. My daughter got red tuna which was an expensive one actually, and it's supposed to be a fine fish. It looked nice and red, but it was actually not very warm, and also dry. I ended up eating a good part of it and it was not very tasty as you would expect from such fish! I ordered white salmon... Same thing, not very warm, and rather dry definitely not very tasty. It was alright to eat it and it was large but again a disappointing meal from what it's supposed to be fresh fish... definitely NOT fresh. We complained a bit and asked if the fish were fresh and just cooked and the waitress assured is they were. None of us believed it... Most likely there were all pre cooked, and this when they put it back in the grill they didn't want to keep it too long or it'd been dry as a rock so they took it out early and thus rather cold. Btw the dish came with either mashed potatoes or just plain potatoes and even though the fish was actually a good large size for the three of them, the potato was probably just one potato... For the price of a potato they could've at least add more, and btw even the potato wasn't even want enough. Come on... The one place you would expect to eat fresh and tasty fish is at a fisherman's restaurant... Well I guess not. Btw this is a classic place in Mardel, ir at least it was years ago. Now that I think about it, there weren't as many people as I'd expected it, and it seems a bit run down. For the cost and the service, also not impressing, avoid it!!!
