The best place to feel like hometown.

They ignored my question and never responded about how are we supposed to order delivery food without a smart phone, when not permitted to leave our accommodation during our isolation quarantine period upon arriving to Argentina back in MARCH. I never received help or tips or offered ANY assistance on how to feed myself after explaining my situation. This example of neglect was additionally included in my three DIFFERENT cases reported on them with the OIG and State Department on them ignoring other emails for help and failing their duty to serve US citizens in need of help abroad.

So I’m an American citizen. I’ve lived in the States for the majority of my life. I just have to say that I was really unimpressed with the customer service here. The person I talked to was pretty clueless. They sent me off to an email address, the one that I precisely had emailed beforehand (because I know how Latin America is about sending you to the four corners of the earth in search of what you need). And in my previous email correspondence, they said I had to stop by to pick up a form for a routine process. Only after insisting that I had already written them did they give me the form. I happen to also be Mexican and I’ve been to the Mexican embassy in Buenos Aires, and I must say that it’s way more competent and amiable.

I visited for U.S citizen services years back. It went smoothly, quickly. The embassy build, walls, are imposing, but staff are helpful, and professional.
