Very real nature experience. Rough trail up, tougher when going down. Very rewarding nonetheless. Very little assistance. Bring ALL the water you're going to need, there's nothing up there! You will not be left alone, but you're on your own when it comes down to moving on. There are wasps and spiders, so beware of bites.

Cordoba's tallest mountain. It's quite a hike. I recommend bringing sunscreen if it's hot, a lot of water, a snack and good shoes. The hiking path is quite rocky, so try not to roll your ankles. Be sure to check the weather before coming and I recommend starting early because you have head back to the mountain's base once 16:30 comes. There is fee to enter and it takes on average 4 hours to go up and 3 hours back. The views up top are amazing and if you have a good camera lens, the top is a good spot for condor spotting.

Cerro Uritorco is a very popular mountain located out in Capilla Del Monte and is quite known for UFO sightings. I personally am Not so crazy about UFO's, however, it is quite a nice hike which takes about seven (7) hours round trip if You have the time, plus there is a fee to climb the mountain and to even park your car, believe it or Not? Anyway, during my brief tour, I just walked around the Base area and even saw a small river at the base as well which is quite nice. There are also many vendors selling rocks and crystals as well! I want to first of all Thank Mauricio who works at the parking booth for letting Federico Sylvester and myself in to briefly walk around and take some pictures for my review. I want to also thank Federico Sylvester for taking me there as well! Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore Visitor Executive Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites /HPS

Very nice hike in the beautiful Uritorco hill. You have to pay a fee to go to the top of the mountain. Also to park the car. Razonable. Recommended: start around 9:30 am max, it’s a time limit to go to the top and then down hill. Water bottle and good hiking shoes also recommended.

A beautiful place with great views. You'll find peace and quiet here. There's a river which is very nice for bathing or taking a walk. Additionally, there's a dried river.

Its the first mountain ive ever seen that has a Guide waiting for you in the middle asking if you have enough water, and everyone has to leave the top at 4pm - to be honest i felt like in a Kindergarten. Beatiful views at the top and hard to climb, worth it, and nice river, but one star less for paying 400 pesos (the first mountain in my life i ever had to pay for).
