It is the office where you can ask for internetcand phone lines. You can also pay for your bills. Though ypu can do it online too. If you don't want to be publish in the phone book you need to pay. COTECAL stands for COOPERATIVA TELEFONICA DE CALAFATE LTDA. Every year they produce a calendar and a phone book, which you get for free if you are a customer, only if you go and get it at the office

Cotecal makes big advertisements for their free WiFi at the Calafate Airport. We tried to use their service there when we arrived and at the day of departure about one week later. Unfortunately it didn't work both times and we tried with several different devices (iPhones, Android, Windows). Would be great if they would monitor if the offered service is working. At the end I have to say that i generally appreciate that Cotecal at least tried to offer that service to travelers.

Muy buena atención del personal. No me gustó esperar afuera con -5 grados de térmica. Los adultos mayores, no soportamos el frío. El local es grande, y podemos estar 3 personas adentro sentadas y 1 en la entrada.
