We had the best wine tasting experience with Chato. He was incredibly knowledgeable about wines from Cafayete as well as around the world and created a warm, inviting atmosphere to enjoy a selection of great wines. Our favourite was his own Malbec, he put a lot of passion into creating it which was conveyed in its well balanced and smooth flavour. We ended up buying a bottle it was that delicious! If you want a truly authentic wine experience, go here!

Great place to have a wine degustation in Cafayate! Chato is truly a great guy, knows his stuff about wine (worldwide and local specifics) and speaks superb English. Don’t miss it, because it will make your experience in Cafayate so much better!
Wonderful visit. Chato is passionate about the wines of the region and informed on them. He boasts an extensive and impressive cellar of local wines and you can drink by the glass or the bottle. A really pleasant way to spend an hour or so whether you are a wine novice or wine enthusiast. This was the best wine bar in the town in my mind including the bodegas. Highly recommended. Now at SAN MARTIN 223 as the new address venue just one block from the main plaza.
Where to start...?! The wine are delicious, the food is amazing, and most of all Chato is such a nice and welcoming guy. Would love so much to come back again, will never forget it
Very nice place ! We have been with my 3 others french friends and the welcoming from the owner is amazing ! He knows very well his job, his passion for the wines. We tried 5 diferents one. Special mention for his own wine, very tasty ! Thanks you for this experience ! Highly recommandable :)
We had a great visit. It feels very local, like you're stepping into someone's home for an experience. Chato is very friendly and you can sample some truly interesting and great wines from the region. This was my favorite place in Cafayate.

Very nice place, warm atmosphere, good wine and explanation. Chato (Oscar) is competent and his own wine is the best. He was open even on new years eve. He moved to San Martin 223, his new place!
