We used this company to visit Victoria Island and the Araynnes Forest while staying in Bariloche. Our guide, Natalia I think, went out of her way to make sure that we were not disadvantaged by not speaking Spanish. There were only 4 of us who were English speakers and she spent time with the 4 of us on the boat explaining everything. Throughout the day she was attentive to us making sure that we got the most out of the day. It was a well organised, information, and extremely interesting day to be recommended. We took the VIP option, which, given the number of drinks, plus lunch plus two snacks, turned out to be great value for money, quite apart from the special area on the boat. They were very gracious, and generous, in accommodating our strange dietary requirements. It was only when we went on another trip with a different company that we realised how well organised Cau Cau were, there was no comparison.

The tour was wonderful and the guides were very friendly and spoke English and Spanish. I am taking away 2 stars because when we went into the office to book the trip they quoted us the prices, we said "ok let's book it" and the girl said "oh, we have no spaces left at the prices I quoted you, you have to book the VIP experience which is 830 more per person", we then said "ok, we'll go with another company that offers tours as that it way too much money" and the girl immediately found 4 spaces at the original price... It truly felt like they were trying to rip us off, very disappointing.

When my group climbed the boat at 3pm, we found it dirty, full of the crumbles from previois passangers, which is understandable. But less understandable was the amount of hairballs and a lint buit_up I ALL seats, to the point where leaning on the sofa covered you in thick multicolored linty glory. Come on, handheld vacuum cleaners are a THING.

The boat is nice and cozy, and it takes you through two stops very professionally. However, we were 5 English speakers among 30 or so Spanish speakers, so the tour was mostly for the Spanish speaking individuals. They got far more explanations by the tour guide, and the explanations seemed more fun. In between stops the guide took the English speakers aside and quickly covered like a quarter of the information and without the theatrics - we felt like 2nd class citizens. On the boat they also spoke in length and that part didn't even have an English counterpart at all. So all in all, you get to see whatever it is to see - but with far less added info by the guides.
