I only stayed a few minutes in Uraguay. Originally I planned to go to Colonia and then travel north to Salto. But the bus schedules and higher hotel rates caused me to choose Concordia. So i took a taxi across the border did my new country dance then returned to Argentina. Looked pretty nice as borders go.

Easy & fast border control. Staff were polite. Just leave the bus, grab your ID card or passport to immigration officer, pass the scanner and return to your seat.
