Wow, wow, wow! Honestly the most incredible place. We were here for hours exploring the ruins. Try to make lots of time for this place. Wear sunscreen and try to pick a cooler day.

Incredible Native American museum and ruins! The museum is small but first class, very instructive and the showings are well done. On the outside, the ample ruins can be visited on foot and are very impressive, specially as seen from the highest points in the trail. Actually, if you have enough stamina, you can climb the center/left trail and then cross over to the one in the right; just be aware that some of the trail's highest parts aren't in top condition and could be dangerous (it's a *long* fall) so please be careful and exercise common sense at all times.

One of the historic video wasn't working, but the museum has a lot of information about the Quilmes civilization, ticket is 100 pesos so is totally worthy The walk in the ruin was cool, and I love those cactus

Beautiful archeological site. With a museum explaining about the Quilmes people. The movie in the theatre has English subtitles and the reception of the museum has a view leaflets in English as well.

I visited the Quilmes ruins yesterday with a friend. Neither of us speak Spanish so we were afraid it would be difficult to understand the story of the Quilmes since most everything is in Spanish here in Argentina. I was pleasantly surprised when one of the guides brought us a brochure in English detailing the story of the Quilmes people. Also the video in the museum had English subtitles. I enjoyed every minute of my stay at the Quilmes ruins the park guides/employees made sure we were accommodated .

The largest pre-Colombian site in Argentina belonging to the Quilmes culture, dating from around 850 CE.

Nice but not worth a detour I think.
