A very interesting place; you show up and the owner/cook/waitress gives you the only option (lunch) which changes daily. Really well made dishes with a home food vibe. Recommended for people that study gastronomy and the like. It is not expensive and the menu includes the drink; you can add the dessert for a little bit more.

Me and my boyfriend went to Tita three times after Spanish class because we absolutely loved this place. She cooks amazing and uses only fresh and healthy products. In our opinion it’s the best place for lunch in Retiro and for a very reasonable price too. We recommend everybody to go to Tita.

Cosy place in the middle of the rush of downtown. Everything is prepared and served by Tita itself and you get the extra of her amazing cooking tips. Food wise is a one item menu that changes every day, I tried the meat terrine a sort of goulash with curry that was amazing. Portions are ok but not shareable. Seating is reduced and casual so don't expect too much. Price is a bit steep since with dessert it rounds up to 450 pesos. The experience is totally worth it though. Very recommended.

Tita's is as close to farm to table as you could get in Buenos Aires! The owner is incredibly passionate and creative with her dishes, every ingredient is carefully selected and incorporated into the dish to deliver a magical taste. Lunch here is a blend of Ottolengi, Alice Waters, and of course Flor's (the owner) own twist. It's a filling lunch yet light enough that you won't be left in a food coma after. Tita's also has a signature blend mix added to most dishes-- a lovely crunch with turmeric that adds a nice texture to the meal. The main dishes we tried were the veal meatballs dusted with a hibiscus pepper and accompanied with pickled bok choy and a tomato confit. She also served her version of the Colombian ajiaco, a thick soup with plenty of chicken, a few strings of pickled onion and a chunk of corn. The soup was topped with a lemon yogurt sauce. Both were so, so good and well balanced. They also have Giovannoni vermouth as a nice way to finish the meal and wait for desert if you want it. Of course we opted for the desert and it was also a big hit, poached pears with cream, crumble, and fresh peppercorns. The place is a little hard to find and only open for lunch, it's wedged between Saigon and On Tap Craft Beer. It doesn't have a sign but one might be coming soon! I'll be in BA for a week and will be coming here every day for lunch. This little place is a nice break from the parilla and a delightful experience. Tita's is a must for lunch if you're in this area or Buenos Aires. Un aplauso para la chef!
