Reception at Portal La Ascensión is at an old estancia formerly dedicated to sheep. Toy can chat to the knowledgeable guides in charge, have a drink and a bite and look around the old buildings. From there you can cross the road and set off on different trails of variable length and level. Amazing views, company of curious guanacos and a great day out.

Great camping spot considering it's free. Running water at the site with tables. Pretty well protected from the wind.
Awesome outdoor experience. Camping was free, with lots of amenities, even a cabin/shelter with fireplaces, stoves and toilet.
Excelente, el guardia nos explicó absolutamente todo, incluso se quedó después de hora. Hay baños increíbles con agua caliente a leña. A orillas del lago. Los fogones son completísimos. No tiene Luz ni electricidad es agreste. Pero a mi no me perjudicó fui preparado.
Buen lugar para pasar en familia o amigos, con caminatas, asados al aire libre y en medio de la más bella naturaleza
Hermoso parque nacional, vale la pena visitarlo y dormir en el camping
Lindo lugar con un personal muy amable... recomendado para visitar... momentos únicos para lugares únicos... imperdible en este viaje por Suramérica
