The rooms were very warm and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The host agreed to accept payment split in USD and Pesos as we ran out of pesos. It was a hassle free stay with a decent breakfast of coffee, milk, toast, jam, butter and nutella. There is a restaurant attached to the hostel which has great food including vegetarian options where people who stay at the hostel get a discount. No issues with parking

Great Hostel - super clean, super cozy & super friendly. The owner & staff is a blast. Everything was extraordinarily clean (above hostel standards). WiFi is super quick and the patio very nice and in order. I definitely recommend staying here since the price is fair compared to calafate standards.

I am very disappointed with my stay in this hostel. The rooms are very, very small, with four people coming in so there is no room for bags and standing in parallel. Do not have a place to lock up your precious things. I showered in cold water. It turns out that putting the bag in the reception while traveling to the glacier is problematic for the owner. The hostel is cheap, but there are those who are similar in price and the ratio is better.
Staff is very nice and friendly. the place is quite clean. But rooms are small, no curtain for the window, showers are ok but the toilets aren't ! Zero intimacy ! Door or not, it's the same. If you come in this hostel to sleep, or rest because you have been tired from hiking, it's not a place for you. There is no rule that says "silence from 11pm or midnight" so obviously nights and mornings are very noisy, with music on until late.

Not really sure why this hostel has such good reviews. As others have noted the rooms are tiny - in no way is there enough room for four people! There is only plugs on the bottom bunk level not the top. Wifi is decent and the rooms are well heated, but that's about where it ends. The 'kitchen' doesn't have a stove, microwave, fridge or anything, its just a room with benches and crockery. On checkin the staff show you to the restaurant next door and say you can use their kitchen - but almost everyone I talked to felt way to awkward to use a full on restaurant kitchen whilst there were chefs working, its not really a workable solution. The owner charges a hefty surcharge if you want to pay by card, then tried to short change me when minusing the VAT off the final charge.
The share room for 4 people is very very small. The kitchen is very big but few tools and equipment . It is possible that I was bitten by some bed bugs. And the price is not reasonable for so small room_300AP no breakfast.
