With headquarters located in Rosario, Argentina, offices in Montevideo -Uruguay and local representations in Sao Paulo-Brazil, Temuco-Chile, Lima-Peru, Bucaramanga-Colombia and Quito-Ecuador, ECLA leads the coordination of clinical trials in the region. In the early days of 1987, ECLA designed and conducted the first full-scale clinical trial in the setting of acute myocardial infarction in collaboration with Oxford University, UK. Since then, more than 3000 patients have been enrolled in controlled clinical trials.
