Extremely friendly and welcoming owners. Mr. Hugo was super nice and gave us some homemade juice after the exhausting ride. He gave us a map and precise directions in the beginning of our trip. Definitely recommend.

Mr. Hugo and his wife were nothing but hospitable to my boyfriend and I when we visited Mendoza for a bicycle wine tour. We ended up getting back to Mr. Hugo's later in the evening - 15 minutes after they closed, and were worried that we would have trouble turning our bikes in. When we rolled up, though, Mr. Hugo and his wife greeted us with big, genuine smiles and lemonade. They were in no rush to force us out - instead they let us play with the kittens, engaged us in some great cultural conversation, and when it was late in the night and we were having trouble securing a cab - Mr. Hugo reached out to a contact of his to make sure that we got home (a 30 minute drive) reliably. They seem like genuinely warm, happy people, and it is ever-evident in the customer service that they provide to their guests. The bikes themselves are pretty basic, no bells and whistles (except a basket! definitely came in handy) - but they're functional, and they get you from point A to B. Not to mention, the price is very affordable. I would absolutely choose Mr. Hugo's again. His smile brightened our day.

A nice family run business. Mr. Hugo is awesome. Our original cab driver was supposed to come back to pick us up at the end of the day, but he didn't show up. Mr. Hugo told us to hang out, and he called another cab for us. We chilled out with his cats on the patio while we waited for our ride. One thing about the wine tours: the pictures you see online don't tell the whole story. The ride to the wineries takes you down the local streets. You'll get to see regular daily life, and that was a pleasant surprise. It reminded me of where I grew up in the rural southern US. The buildings and landscape look different, but the people are the same. Everyone was very friendly. There are separate bike lanes for almost the entire ride to the wineries. There are only a couple of short stretches where you have to ride with traffic, but we didn't have any problems.

Mr Hugo is one great guy. After returning the bikes, Mr. Hugo greeted us with two wine bottles as a gift. Had no problems with bikes...

Would definitely recommend renting a bike from Mr. Hugo. The family is so friendly, the bikes are fairly nice, and they are helpful with planning your route and giving you a map!

Hugo is a complete gentleman, a warm smile on his face for everybody and would bend over backwards to keep you happy. Great tips on which vineyards to visit as well.

What a great day!! We loved cycling around the vineyards of Mendoza and trying the different types of wines, mainly Malbec... Mr Hugo is an extremely friendly chap, even though his English isn't great, it's a lot better than my Spanish... it's definitely worth testing the bikes before leaving, we had a slight issue with one of our groups, but we just swapped it over on the way back past to another vineyard.

You'd better look for another bikerental (the blue white competitor seemed well). The positive reviews might be dated. We got two under maintained bikes. For 500 pesos per bike per day, and the previous reviews we'd expected better. Disappointing.
