It's a nice park where you can hangout with some friends or even alone. The thing is that, you must be very careful with your personal stuff cuz there are many thiefs around the park, and that makes you feel insecure. I would say that, going to Plaza Italia it's nice but just for a short period of time.

Bueatiful spot. Love to walk around. You will definitely get the feel and experience the culture of Argentina when visting the Obelisco. Also great spot for photos if your into the super obvious tourists photos. All in all a must see when visiting Buenos Aires.

Plaza Italia is an ideal recreational spot to go to with friends and spend time in the shade, sitting on the grass drinking mate. It's a nice family place as well, but since there's so much traffic around it and the cars and buses drive by so fast, there's always a risk children will walk onto the street. Stay well away from it at night.
