It's not a large museum, but everything is well displayed and brightly lit. Good collection of fossils. Worth a visit in combination with the nearby art museums.

The museum is designed as an elaborate spiral staircase. The exhibits wind up the stairs. There are full skeletons of various mega fauna. You can stash luggage here, and on some days of the week (Wednesday?) the museum is free.

Great little stop if you're looking to glean some knowledge on the regional archaeology. It only costs 15 pesos for an entertaining 45-minute pit stop in Córdoba's nicest neighborhood. Some of the exhibits are a bit tired, but overall the museum is nicely done.
