Ideal for a fancy dinner, is a cozy place. Every plate we had looked and tasted great.

Incredible! Had the best drink! And the Burrata is god touched! Incredible staff, went alone and felt home! By far, the best I had in BA so far! Sad I didn’t take pictures of the great Burrato!

Went to Giova for dinner last night with two friends as other places nearby were full and we were hungry. Bad choice, should have known better since this place was not crowded and the ambiance left a lot to be desired. Bruschetta was good, but everything else was pretty awful. All the entrees (steak, ravioli, and “salmon” which was actually some kind of white fish) were unflavorful, overcooked, and unappetizing in presentation. Plus all night after that ravioli my stomach hurt. Hard pass.

This place sucks. I think the most telling sign about a restaurant is the number of one star reviews they have. I wish I had read the one star reviews of this place. The booths are very uncomfortable with no cushion and wooden planks underneath your butt. It’s also freezing inside. I had to keep my coat on. The food is incredibly slow. As in we ordered and 1.5 hours later we received our food. The restaurant was maybe half full. Our entree was pasta that was so al dente they must have made it five minutes before it hit the table. After being there for 2.5 hours we asked for our dessert to go and the check. 15 minutes later we were tired of waiting and went up to the register to get it. Our waiter turned to the kitchen and asked, “Are the desserts ready?" The kitchen asked back, "What desserts?” The food itself was ‘meh’. Average, nothing special. To recap, it was physically uncomfortable to be there, the food was beyond slow, expensive, and just average. I will say that the waiter was friendly. I will also say don't go there.
