I visited the 45 Book Fair. On this edition what I liked the most was the pavilion of the Argentine Provinces which had the books of its local writers and singers. Most were accompanying them with guitar and simple sound systems. A small and informal seating was arranged within the stands. I particularly liked the one of San Juan which had a background with the main turistic, cultura and sport activities. It was a joy to listen such a good singer interpreting the folk songs of my home land. On the pavilion of the largest book exhibition, some contral stands had books exhibited and for purchase over stands that left little space for the public circulation. Especially considering the fact that many people hold bank packs and jackets on the arms. After the long walking on the fair this difficult flows are discouraging for the public and we go to other stalls. Another point is that the sellers should know about the books and while some gave advice and knew about, others were not well trained. Last there were no discounts. The supposed discounts were applied over a certain amount spent (not little)or if y lo u bought 3 books while you might be interested in only one. Still the book fair is always nice to visit.
The best time of year and show/expo to go for is the feria de campo. No doubt that is what you should check out. If you don't you'll regret it
Old fairground with different kind of exhibition halls. Some of them are quite new, some are older. If you are in town during the agriculture fair "Exposición Rural" in July/August you should plan a visit - unless you are an animal rights activist.
The place was amazing, full of animals, nice things to see and visit, great people and organization. If you are in the city, you should come to visit it.
Great place in order to enjoy Feria del Libro.
Excellent convention center. Clean restrooms well kept facilities easy to navigate once inside. Room for improvement when a convention is massive there should be more details on parking alternatives. Other than that, it is a top notch place to go as an exhibitor or as public.
