This place is a "must" visit for human rights activists and for people who are interested in the dark period of the military junta regime ("the dirty war"). This "museum" is almost a live witness to the daily life of the detainees who were held in the place and later were murdered. The guided tour is excellent (there is a tour in english) and takes around 1.5 hours.

Haunting. A Buenos Aires must-see. I was chilled to the bone to see what happened in the late 70s when I was just a baby in the United States. Comparatively, the terrorism memorialized here seemed so far away to Americans back then. Now experiencing it, there is a chilling similarity to the Nazis Holocaust, and a forboding sense of warning to our contemporaneous heads of state who might consider employing these tactics. Not mentioning any names...

Very important museum. Everyone should visit to understand Argentina‘s history and history of humankind in general. I give 4 out 5 stars because the room about the „transfers“ was disappointing. Watch all the videos to get a feeling what was going on 40 years ago. Free entry and there is a English Audioguide and English descriptions on laminated paper to carry around. Visit recommended.

A must-see. You may feel several sensations since in the 70s and 80s militaries used to torture and kill people who were “suspects”. It is very interesting but also shocking. Very recommended.

This place is part of Argentina's dark history, but now is part of its past, and Kirchner's government converted these buildings in something new, they have changed its obscure meaning in new light like one of the Madres de Plaza de Mayo's buildings or Encuentro channel, an educational Public broadcast channel. It beatiful walk in summer within its streets and under its trees.

Good museum, very informative, still restrictive due to ongoing investigations.

Good museum sharing about the historical torture centre in Argentina during the dictatorial period. There’s an english guide to help foreigners here, and of course the place has lots of exhibits for you to get to grips on what has happened during this terrible period.
