Delicious thai food served in a super cute restaurant. Go for a nice long dinner. It is worth it. Prices are really good. Too bad I discovered on my last night in Buenos Aires otherwise I would return for another pleasant dinner!
US tourist here. Found this hidden gem a few blocks from my hotel. I had an outstanding meal. Even though my Spanish-speaking is a D- , I showed them a photo of the meal I wanted (thanks to photo posters) and they made it exactly the same. The food was delicious, the ambiance is very inviting, perfect background music, and a very warm staff! Congratulations on doing everything right. If this restaurant were in NYC it would be packed every night.
The actual atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is very pretty. The dim lighting adds a nice touch. BUT as a person who loves eating Thai food weekly, this was a disappointment. I am from the U.S. and travel internationally frequently. Everywhere I go, I try the local Thai Restaurants. The authenticity is quite low. I ordered a red curry; it was advertised as coconut milk based. It was 100% not. Maybe the cook added a drop of coconut milk to the water based "red curry", but it was not what I was expecting. It was all water and some curry powder added. It basically looked like a soup when it was handed to me. My boyfriend had Pad Thai and they did not use the proper noodles and the portion was small. They drowned the pad Thai in soy sauce. I think this place is great for people that have never tried authentic asian food.
Great cozy place with very few tables, very intimate. The food is amazing and the service is very good. Considering theres only one waiter, a meager and the kitchen staff. Not a big selection of wines, but what they offer is good, and at a great price.
hidden, when went there, just was cash only, so this is the only downside, that aside, as for vegan or Asian food, nice place to visit.
Overall a poor experience. The waiter was nice but inattentive, since we were the only ones sitting outside this is more understandable. What was ridiculous was that they didn’t offer any tap water. Even worse, when I asked for two separate boxes for my curry and pad thai, I was informed that they only had one left. For a restaurant that charges so much, one would expect water and to go boxes at the very least. The food was decent, not the best Pad Thai I’ve had but definitely not the worse. Definitely do not recommend going here.
