Closed due to renovation, most unfortunately, during our stay in BA. Directly opposite our accommodation in 'Defensa', we would have loved to visit this church, but could only view the outside, much of which was shrouded in scaffolding and sheeting. Even that looked impressive. The attached museum was closed whenever we went to visit it. I'm sure that when reopened, the Basilica y Convento de San Francisco will prove an attractive place to visit.
