Great service in a historical place. I loved the ham & cheese empanada!

a very long line on the day “ la noche de las heladerías” but the line went quite fast. 50% discount on this day (applies only for the 1/4kg). The shop looks quite antique, with some decorations of argentinean style .
The taste of the artesan ice cream was not authentic and was very watery. We thought of visiting the place since coming to BA but was utterly disappointed after visiting for ice cream.
A historic place that you have to visit! It was the first ice cream place in town. But what I really recommend is hot chocolat with churros, with or without cover with chocolat and filling with dulce de leche. Dip your churros in the chocolat and enjoy one of those traditions in Argentina coming from Spanish roots. Look around in the place for the many details, and if you are Argentinean will recognize photos of several known persons among customers
