I like this theatrical complex over all, although its programming is far from inclusive... what I most love are the smaller performing halls, like sala alberdi, which are dedicated to smaller companies and indies proyects. Worth a go nevertheless.

Buenos Aires excels first and foremost in it's extensive cultural offerings, not in the least at the many cultural centers throughout the city. San Martin may not be the most exciting center of them all (be sure to check out the Kirchner center, for example), but their event agenda is interesting nonetheless, especially for the various film festivals they host.

I was exhibiting here and I love this building in spite of it's terrible state of disrepair, which says more about the Argentinian economy and public services than it does about the space. The staff are great and it has some really good events and exhibitions - pay it a visit if you are in Buenos Aires
