The most intimate winery I visited in Mendoza. Didn’t do a tour but did a tasting with lunch. This was our first stop on our bike tour. You are basically in the beautiful backyard of the owners of the winery..... saw the kids playing outside....surrounded by their vineyards. The food was to die for and even had vegetarian options. Tables are set up around the yard, pick where you want to sit and you are brought 3 delicious wines and food if you want it. Would definitely recommend Gieco Winery!!!

Recommend visiting and grabbing some wine. This was the first bodega we visited in the region and at the end of visiting a few was my favorite. Not pretentious, just some raw family passion in a relaxed setting. I sampled a couple of the malbecs and found them lovely and well priced.

I can highly recommend visiting this bodega! The family is very lovely and they take their time to explain you all you want to know about wine. The wines are very fruity and delicious - especially on a hot summer day!

We enjoyed Bodega Gieco's full bodied red wine with a meal based on duck. This dark-red violet wine has intense flavours hinting of blueberry blackberry with a medium-high acidity. We will surely be getting a few more bottles!
