Helpful information and central location. We rented bicycles from the young guus here and they helped us to arrange for transport to El Chalten. The transactions were quick and clear. The bicycles rode well and were not too heavy. Our transport arrived slightly late but they pick up at other hotels so you may not actually begin your trip for another hour. The driver drove well and our bus was clean, comfortable. We stopped at the halfway mark at a cafe to use restrooms and get food. Good overall experience.

These guys are super honest and helpful. We didn’t have any plans upon arrival in El Calafate. They recommended the bus tour to Perito Moreno that cost only a bit more than public transport, as well as the bus ride to El Chaltén to hike Mt Fitz Roy trail! The guide we had on the Perito Moreno tour was really knowledgeable and helpful. We had ample time to roam around on our own. Highly recommend going here for your travel needs when in El Calafate!

I rented a Mountain Bike. The bike was in great condition and the price was reasonable. Great service and good vibes.
THEY TRYED TO KILL ME WITH WEAPON ON THE HAND. The condition of bike was so terrible. I had to return the bike in 2 hours even i already payed it for full day. When i went by the my hostel called folk and they saw me i "through the bike away" which was actually the even the stand was broken. so the only option to stop bike is just leave the bike on the floor. They called bike shop behind me and tell them "i am throwing the bikes to break"(I DID NOT). When i went back to rental shop to return it and tell them it was unrideble condition and asked for refund. Not only he did not listen and refuse and also ACCUSED ME WITH DENT ON THE BIKE. but also. literary threaten me to KILL ME. WITH WEAPON ON THE HAND. Some of you may think i am lieing. But even if i through the bikes away. Do i deserved to threatened be killed with weapon on the hand? Do not go this shop. There are many other bike shops around there and conditions are much better. 자전거 상태가 너무 안좋아서 하루치 돈내고 빌렸다가 걍 2시간 만에 반납함.... 포크 호스텔에 묵었는데 거기 입구에 자전거 내려놓고 ( 자전거 스텐드도 부러져서 안새워짐) 호스텔에 방 들어갔다가. 거기 주인이 자전거"집어던지는거"를 봄. 그러고 나한테 자전거 살살 쓰라고 함;; 근처에 자전거집이 있는데도 거기서 추천해준 집을 일부러 멀리멀리 찾아간거라 좀 의심되서 너네 둘이 커넥션 있는거 아니냐고 물어봐도 아니라고 잡아땜.... 아무튼 무시하고 자전거 반납하러 향했는데. 그사이에 호스텔 주인이 자전거집 주인한테 뒤에서 연락함. 자전거 막 집어던진다고 ㅡ.ㅡ;;;(맹세하는데 자전거 안"집어던졌" 습니다) 아무튼 자전거집 갔더니 전화 받은 주인이 막 엄청 뭐라고함. 내가 너무 화나서 나 환불 받아야 겠다고 했더니 너 집어던진거 다 안다면서ㅡ.ㅡ;;; 막 경찰 부르겠다면서. Go home or i will kill you 라면서 야구 빠다 들고 협박함. 문자 그대로...... 저가 자전거를 안집어던졌다는걸 믿던안믿던 그건 마음대로지만... 만약 집어전덨다고 쳐도...손에 무기를 들고 저를 죽이겠다고 협박하면서 때리는 곳입니다....절대로 가지 마세요.
You can rent a bike at 150 peso for 1hr, 350 peso for 3hrs, and 550 for all day. My experience was not pleasant as they had poor bikes. The chain of the bike i rented was detached 3 times just in a hour; i fixed it first but had to go back to the shop and change the bike. They didn't apologize for the inconvenience or compensate the amount of time i had to spend to go to the shop again to exchange. BESIDES the changed one was awful too!!

Pésima atención,con pocas ganas de tratar con el turismo,alquilamos dos bicicletas si bien las misma son de buena calidad el precio es elevado,nos las entregaron sin revisarla y a los 5 km me di cuenta que la mía estaba muy desinflada por lo que tuve que regresar y pedirle además un inflador ,que nunca nos ofreció de entrada,las usamos durante tres horas y media y cuando las regresamos nos cobró día completo,sin tener en cuenta que perdí media hora en tener que regresar a inflarla,ni siquiera pidió disculpas,el empleado inmutable con una mirada soberbia,se ve que no le gusta trabajar los domingos. Es raro en una ciudad donde toda la gente parece muy amable...siempre hay alguien que no encaja!!!
